Final Words of the Kindergarten 2013-14 School Year in Purple Pod
Parents,
First of all, we are super proud of our kinder babies of purple pod this year! It has been a fantastic kindergarten adventure this year and we hope that your child loved every second of it just like we did! The students came to us ready and eager to learn. These little sponges have definitely soaked up tons of information while they were with us.
Secondly, thank you! Parent support is paramount when it comes to kindergarten! Parents who are willing to give their time, donations, materials, party essentials, ideas or whatever as we go through any given school year is fantastic. We know that we could not make it as successful without you!
Thirdly, may all of the students moving on to 1st grade be extremely successful as 1st graders. Staying on top of things and keeping priorties straight may be something you'll need to help your little ones face during 1st grade. There will be more homework, additional information to learn, and new things to explore. Those students who were unable to move on will gain another dose of kindergarten essentials and have another year of age under their belts to absorb the experience. We will be here to help in any way that you may need us.
Lastly, Enjoy your summer but practice a little each week so they won't forget the skills they've learned thus far. :)
I know I speak for all of the purple pod teachers when I state that we love you all (parents and students) and hope to see you return to Coosada next school-year!
