Lesson Plans for December 1-5, 2014 Objectives: The children will: Read, Little Panda Alphabet/sounds review/songs HFW-review all taught ELA skill-Compare/Contrast Letters/Sounds- All taught Model Writing a sentence Counting and Cardinality 0-10 Participate in activities about Counting to 50 the 5 Senses/Christmas Activities Writing numerals 0-10 Review/compare/Analyze Shapes Describe and Compare measurable attributes ** The teacher will review Letter Naming, First Sounds, Phoneme Segmentation, and Nonsense Word Fluency daily in whole or small group after skills are introduced. (p. 10 of Curriculum Guide) Monday – Social Science: Activities about the 5 senses/Christmas Activities Reading: Read, Read Little Panda HFW’s: review all taught Skill: Compare/Contrast and review others taught Letters/Sounds— ALL Begin blending Math: Daily Routines and Procedures Attendance and Calendar Counting and Cardinality 0-10 Describe and Compare measurable attributes Review/Compare/Analyze shapes Tuesday Social Science: Same as Monday Reading: See Monday Math: Daily Data/Routines Wednesday- FIELD TRIP TO CHRISTMAS TREE FARM Social Science: Same as Monday Reading: See Monday Math: Daily Data/Routines See Monday Thursday- Social Science: Same as Monday Reading: same as Monday Writing: Draw a picture about our field trip. Math: Daily Data/Routines See Monday Friday--- Social Science: Same as Monday Reading: same as Monday Writing: Write a sentence with picture from Thursday Whole group to follow teacher model on Elmo.
